In a surprising announcement on social media, Ashley St. Clair, a prominent conservative figure and influencer, has disclosed that she welcomed a baby five months ago with Elon Musk, the tech mogul best known for his leadership roles at Tesla and SpaceX. This revelation comes as St. Clair expressed her desire to protect her child’s privacy from what she anticipates will be intrusive media coverage.

St. Clair made the announcement via a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, where she boasts over a million followers. In her message, she stated that she chose to disclose her child’s existence to preempt the tabloids, which she believes will soon attempt to reveal this personal information without regard for the potential harm it may cause. She stated, “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”

This news adds another chapter to Musk’s already complex family narrative. The billionaire entrepreneur is known to have fathered twelve children with three different women: his ex-wife Justine Wilson, musician Grimes, and Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink. Tragically, Musk’s first child with Wilson passed away shortly after birth due to sudden infant death syndrome. Musk has consistently expressed concerns over declining birth rates and has warned that this trend could have dire consequences for future generations, even suggesting that it could lead to the extinction of entire nations.

In her post, St. Clair used the Latin phrase “Alea lacta Est,” which translates to “the die is cast,” signifying a decisive moment. She elaborated that the father of her child is indeed Elon Musk and that she had withheld this information until now to safeguard the child’s well-being. The announcement has led to some confusion regarding St. Clair’s age; while the British tabloid The Sun claims she is 26, the New York Post reports she is 31.

St. Clair has made waves in the past for her controversial views and public statements. She previously wrote for the Babylon Bee, a satirical site with conservative leanings, and authored a children’s book titled “Elephants Are Not Birds,” which critiques the notion of transgender acceptance. In the book, a vulture attempts to convince an elephant that he is a bird based on his ability to sing, ultimately leading the elephant to embrace his true identity.

The influencer has also been involved in various media projects, including a controversial calendar titled “Real Women of America 2024,” released by a conservative beer brand. The calendar featured provocative images of young women, including St. Clair in a bubble bath, which sparked debates within conservative circles regarding its appropriateness.

In recent months, St. Clair gained attention for her posts about her flight experiences, during which she claimed that the majority of her fellow passengers were migrants crossing the border. This statement led to significant backlash and further discussion surrounding immigration issues.

Following her recent announcement about her child, a prior post from St. Clair resurfaced on social media. In that post, she discussed the positive impact of stopping birth control and Adderall on her mental health, to which Musk responded affirmatively.

The reactions to St. Clair’s news have been mixed, with prominent conservative voices expressing support for her decision to protect her child’s privacy. Candice Owens, a well-known commentator, emphasized the importance of keeping children out of the media spotlight. Jack Posobiec, editor of Human Events, also extended his well-wishes to St. Clair and her family.

As for Musk, he has been active on social media following the announcement, discussing various global and technological topics but has yet to publicly address the news of his new child. The unfolding situation continues to attract attention, raising questions about media ethics, privacy, and the complexities of public figures navigating their personal lives in the spotlight.
